How do we facilitate change for a more fulfilling life?
The first step is acknowledging that things aren't working status quo. It's taking an honest dive into our experiences to sort out what's working and what isn't. Sitting still with uncomfortable feelings is part of the change process. When you stay with discomfort long enough, there's an urge to mitigate it. Unease begets receptivity.
Then, remaining curious and forgiving of our foibles sparks initiative.
Awareness and humility of our strengths provide the impetus.
And, no change is possible without mindfulness and connection.
It takes presence to see yourself with open eyes. It takes others to provide support and feedback through mirroring. The convergence of these two things ignites development.
Change is an adventure, there is no finish line. Just when you think you've arrived, a new voyage will unfold.
Savor every moment. Connect with others. Trust the process.
