Where Will You End Up?
I was riding in the passenger seat of my car recently while my 17 year old son, who has his driver's permit, was driving. We were on the freeway, close to our exit when Benjamin looked to his left to see who was driving the car next to us (they were not driving in a straight line, which caught our attention). Any idea what happened? While Benjamin was looking directly to his left, our car began drifting to the left. (Without panicking) I enthusiastically told Benjamin to look straight ahead, to look where he was going. (How many times have we heard that in our lives?!) Once fully back in our lane, I said to him: "Where you look is where you end up."
We all know this to be true but often choose to ignore the fact that we're in charge of our future. If you look away from the road in front of you, where do you end up?
